THE LANGHAM LONDON | REVIEW BY LUXURY TRAVEL PUBLISHER.
THE LANGHAM LONDON is an iconic English hotel, situated in London’s heart. Right off the Oxford Circus located on Regent Street, this hotel’s location couldn’t get any better. Just a stroll to Oxford Circus tube station.
Quintessentially English, the hotel is almost a landmark in London. The Langham London has been on the scene since 1865, and although having been renovated several times since then, has it’s reputation firmly set in stone as Europe’s first Grand Hotel.
The hotel is graced with a subtle yet luxurious design, incorporating elegance, style, taste and comfort, and a recent renovation in 2010 leaves the hotel feeling classical, yet with a modern twist.
We stayed in the Grand Executive Room, which at 33 square meters, isn’t the largest of rooms, however good use of space is made, and there is room for a work desk, in addition to the King Bed.
The bathroom is elegantly fitted, with his and her sinks and a bath rub, graced with marble surrounds, to a generous size.
Furthermore, the Grand Executive Room’s at The Langham London are located on the newly renovated Regent Wing, and have private access to Regent Street – quite handy!
The Langham Club
The Langham Club at The Langham London is exclusively for those in Club Type rooms, or pay the additional fee for access.
It has great breakfast choices, afternoon tea and evening canapés/cocktails. Within the club, there is also a business center.
Whilst we didn’t make use of the facilities during our stay, there is a beautiful pool, and fitness centre.
Breakfast is highly rated, which a huge selection between 2 restaurants, or the The Langham Club. The quality of food is very high, with choices of a la carte, or buffet.
The Langham London is perfect for guests on business or leisure, and it’s location certainly wouldn’t disssapoint!
